It’s been a long wait, not only for Aldo and McGregor, but also to all MMA and UFC fans, now, it is time to square things out this Saturday, December 12th, 2015.
Brazil and Ireland will meet each other on the octagon, when featherweight champion Jose “Junior” Aldo (25-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) faces the relentless interim champ Conor “The Notorious” McGregor (18-2 MMA, 6-0 UFC), at the beautiful and spectacular MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The fight was originally scheduled for July at the Octagon UFC 189, but it was postponed when Aldo suffered a rib injury. At that moment, McGregor faced off with Chad Mendes for the interim title, but we all know that Conor needs to beat Aldo, to be the actual Featherweight UFC/MMA Champion.
Aldo and McGregor will have their chance on Saturday, and may be, after all the verbal abuse, conflicts and problematic stare downs, this is going to be the time to settle things down, once and for all, as Joe Rogan said “the Aldo fight (vs. McGregor) will be BEYOND IMAGINATION”.
